Become a Christmas Chute Ambassador
The Route 66 Christmas Chute needs your help to make this year one for the record books! Become a 'Chute Ambassador,' and help everyone visiting the chute have a very merry experience!
All volunteer shifts are 3 hours long and start Nov 19 – Dec 27th. We kickoff at 10:00 AM every day and run until we close up at 10:00 PM. We ask that volunteers try to show up about 15 minutes before your shift starts so we can get you checked in and ready to go.
What you’ll be doing
- Take a Stroll: Walk the Chute to make sure things are running smoothly and everyone is having a great time.
- Be a Helpful Guide: Help our guests find their way. Be ready to point them toward the food, restrooms, shops or any events happening during the shift.
- Snap Some Memories: Keep an eye out for photo ops. If you see a family or a group of friends trying to take a selfie, offer to take the photo for them!
- Keep It Clean: Help us keep the place looking good by picking up any stray pieces of trash you see while walking the route.
- See Something, Say Something: If you spot a broken setup, a sketchy cord, or any other issue — just report it to the event team right away so we can get it taken care of.
Most importantly, we want volunteering to be FUN! This is a wonderful opportunity to enhance the Christmas season and help create a special experience for families and our community.
